A Smile for Monday

So we hear that the humans really hate Mondays for some reason. Seems like just another day to us, one that Mom and Dad have to go to that place all day so they can get us kibble and treats and toys and stuff. Whatever.
But we wanted to give all the humans somethin to smile about tomorrow and these pics always make Mom snicker, so let your parents have a look and maybe their Monday will be not so bad.

Thanks to all who have left comments and are now our new friends...this bloggy thing is fun!

Happy Friday!

It's the weekend and that means more Mom and Dad time. It also means more opportunities to mooch food,

"Are you gonna finnish that? Cuz I'm absolutely starving here."

The weekend means more chances to practice our favorite yoga positions.

"Now assume the 'Chillax" pose for a couple of hours"

The weekend means more time to cuddle and be adored.

"Those who serve me, aka Mom and Dad, call me a Sweet Little Thing when I do this"

The weekend means more time for Rebel to just sit around and breathe heavy.

"Not much chance to get a word in edgewise with these two around"

The weekend is for time with our family, and maybe time for making goofy faces!

"Snark!"

Hope your weekend is full of whatever makes you Happy!

The Story of Us Part 2

Hello again, we are sooo EXCITED to see you again (jumping up and down, scurrying back and forth)
Last time we told you about the beautious Tikka and her babies, and yes she was our furMom. Here's a picture
of us, Tikka and our brothers and sister. We don't remember this, cuz we were blind and deaf at the time,
as opposed to now, when we just have selective hearing BOL!

When this picture was taken our huMom thought we were all really sweet, and her heart melted just a little
at the sight of us. She made an off-hand comment to Tikka's mom that IF she wanted a puppy she would pick the
little girl with the spot on her foot. That about sealed the deal with Tikka's mom, but our Mom was STILL wavering
and even when she FINALLY realized she had an empty space in her heart just waiting to be filled up by a puppy, she
had to convince Dad (which, let's face it, took 5 seconds after Mom said "Look how cute she is") So it was
decided that Mom would get the little girl puppy with the spot on her foot as an anniversary present.

This is Ying, she was voluptuous from the get go, ie. kinda chunky

All our other siblings were very cute as well, but Mom and Dad didn't understand why no one had picked the black and white little girl who was so outgoing and friendly as a forever furbaby. So guess what? She went home with Mom and Dad, too!

Here's Yang, notice she's trying to lick the hand that's holding her? What a sucky-girl!

Holy Cow, we were sooooo happy to go live with Mom and Dad! They cuddled us and fed us good food and lots of treats and kept us safe and healthy and played with us and let us be us and loved us lots and lots! Here we are growing up.

We did have one challenge in our new furever home, our big brother Rebel was TERRIFIED of us. He would run outta the room when he saw us, and he growled like crazy when we got close to him. But he never hurt us, even when we got into his food dish or licked his back teeth (Mom nearly had a heart attack when we did that! she says our whole heads would disapear in his mouth). We really wanted him to luv us too, so we tried and tried to make him see that we were'nt so bad, that we could be fun to have around. And then guess what happened?

One day Rebel decided he loved us too!! Our happy family is now complete!

And that's the story of us, the beginning part anyway, Goodnite!

The Story of Us

Once upon a time, in a doggy-lovin home, a looong time ago (like a whole 4 years ago) there was a huMom and huDad that always had BIG dogs called Rotties and Chows and they didn't think they even liked little dogs all that much. But time went on and the first rotty,( whose name was Rowdy and was the Dad's dog), and then the chow-chow,(whose name was Velvet and was both the Mom and Dad's dog), went to Rainbow Bridge. This made them sad but time went on and life went on with the other two rotties, Roxxy and Rebel.

Roxxy, (who was the Mom's baby girl) stayed for a long time and took care of and loved the Mom all her long life, but one day it was of course her turn to go to the Rainbow Bridge to be with Rowdy and Velvet, and the Mom understood and let her go. But she swore she would NEVER get another dog, it was just so hard to say goodbye.

Now the Mom had a friend who was looking for a boyfriend for her furbaby and the Mom said "My parents have a boy who would like to have a date with your girl". So things were 'arranged' and the boy, Jake, and the girl, Tikka, met for some 'good times'

What a handsome, charming boy that Jake was

And Tikka was a beauty in her own right, Jake knew just how to make a good first impression!

The new couple hit it off right away...
you could say it was love at first sight

Wow, did they ever get it on....er , we mean, ..get ALONG, Bol
Tikka's Mom resorted to a chastity belt of sorts...

But it didn't work too good, cuz and few weeks later on Good Friday, there arrived EIGHT fuzzy, squeaking, wriggling, great smelling bundles of Joy!

Now you may wonder what all this has to do with Us, or maybe not. Either way, we will tell you more next time. Cuz this is our blog and we can talk about ourselves all we want..BOL!

Sunday Walkin'

We know it's Monday, but here's some pictures of our walk yesterday in the pretty sunshine. We keeep telling Mom that SPRING IS HERE!, but she says ' A lot can happen in 2 months, it's only February' Sheesh, doesn't she realize doggy instincts are NEVER wrong?

We got to sniff the trees,
Got kinda warm(pant, pant), but it felt soooo good(squinty face)
Look how high up we are on this snowbank!
Our big brother Rebel went for his walk after us (cuz he's kinda old and a BOY, so Mom lets him walk slower than us), and he thought it felt springalicous too!
Hope your getting springy weather where you live too,
